ICPP 2023 NSF-Sponsored Travel award

Award notifications will be sent by August 4, 2023.
This award will provide up to $1,800 per graduate student to support travel to the ICPP 2023 conference. The award can be used to help reduce the cost of airfare, travel to/from the conference venue, accommodations, and/or conference registration. The award will be processed as a reimbursement at the end of the conference (after August 10th), so please save all receipts associated with conference attendance. The NSF will not reimburse costs above $1,800 per graduate student.
Award Expectations: Students receiving the travel award are encouraged to present their posters at ICPP 2023. Please see the posters link for instructions. They are also encouraged to participate in the student activities including networking and mentoring session hosted at ICPP 2023.
Award Restrictions: This travel award is only available to current graduate students (M.S. or Ph.D.) studying at US-based institutions of higher education. Graduate students who are currently studying at institutions outside of the United States are not eligible for this award. Undergraduate students are not eligible for this award.
Airfare Restrictions: Airfare must be purchased with a US-flag carrier airline in the lowest available fare class. Travelers who fly premium economy/business/first class must document the lowest available coach fare and may allocate the difference using personal funds.
Ground Transportation: Transportation to/from the airport, bus, or rail station are reimbursable. Mileage-based reimbursement is available at 65.5 cents per mile if you are driving a personal vehicle to/from the conference. However, mileage-based reimbursement can only be submitted by the vehicle owner. Documentation may be required to prove ownership.
Incomplete applications will not be considered for the award.
